Last weekend, the guys (me, my brother and my dad) joined 300 other riders to ride and raise money for the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) with a 100-mile ride in Death Valley. Being one of the driest places on earth (less than 2 inches of rain per year) and one of the lowest, this desert nestled between mountains is truly a natural beauty. Surprisingly, biking in such hot, dry conditions was awesome.
